Just got back from watching the Inauguration at a local community center here in Ventura, CA - and not a dry eye in the house! I haven't felt this patriotic and proud to be an American since I was 7 years old.

The feelings are new and quite surprising since I have lived most of my adult life feeling cynical and suspicious of anything that happened in Washington, DC.

I'm wondering how my peers in other parts of the country (and world!) are feeling?
