Wish the world was different.
Have worries AND hope and know
only returning to this place of refreshment
will I find my way, will I do my best
to contribute to the rainwater that runs
in drops across the biggest rocks
and drips, giving succor
to the chickweed beside.
And which I may eat of or
befriend in myself. And which sometimes
is glad for the rock.
