I am a retired Physics professor. Age 78, male, good health. Read quite a lot -- environment, history, politics, peace. A widower fairly recently -- had a charmed marriage and life. One son, a physicist as well. I write a little for our local Peace/Life Center monthly newspaper. People say I am quite upbeat about 'things'. I have always been so and am not sure why. Born in Scotland I suppose I should be more dour. But, if you let the weather, or, or, or...run your life you'll have no life at all (my father's words). I'm not surprised that I subscribe to ODE and glad I do.
