Almost sixty-three years of comprehensively exploring the universe, both physically and mentally, reading (59 years), and writing (58 years). I think acceptance of our common humanity is more important than tolerance, though if tolerance is all you can manage, live it and maybe aspire to acceptance. I also think prosperity for all is achievable, but wealth for a few is self-limiting (not bad, but ultimately pointless). Bucky Fuller convinced me that humanity had the talent and capacity to live ecologically on this planet but still needs encouragement in developing the will and willingness. The fun of cosmogenesis is in the details. In an evolving universe, absolute truth is always becoming something new. The ability to rethink our options is the essence of our most ancient wisdom. Biographical snapshots would include shrimper, Green Beret (including Viet Nam), poet , teacher, linguist, computer scientist, technical support consultant, essayist (including what I call philosloppical essays), and crazy wisdom humorist.
