I have lived on four continents, but spent most of my adult life now in the states, for the last thirteen years in Charlottesville, Virginia. My husband and I live on 4 1/2 acres of Virginia countryside, grow some small garden, and are attempting to eat within 250-mile radius of our home. We have two boys - 7 and 13, and a dog. We're working on a number of efforts: reducing consumption...putting up some solar, always something to try and be more positive, more energized and contribute to the world. I canceled Ode once, but immediately regretted it and just got my subscription back up. Thank you Ode for being a positive and world-wide community voice for progress, peace and creative change.
