http://www.marcellotoshi.com I have shoe line that I design for (see link above). All the shoes are handcrafted by artisans in Peru and we are looking for ways to make the shoes more environmentally holistic. Any information regarding leathers - or non-leathers, water-based glues, wet-white tanning, or even fairtrade organizations that support shoe-trade would be fantastic. So far I have only found FT organizations that support food-based trade and for sportsballs, funnily enough. We are in the process of opening our own artisan workshop and I would like to have it FT certified. I'd be very happy to recieve any suggestions!
