Originally from South East Asia, I am currently working in the Netherlands as an Accountant and living here with my Dutch husband. We do not have kids but we are foster parents to a boy from Sri Lanka (a victim of Tsunami) and hopefully we'll foster or even adopt more kids in the future. As a teenager, I have dreamed of providing a house or two to the orphans and helping the poor people to get a better living from my home country. I hope to meet more people who have the same dream as I do through this community to share ideas and support. Thanks.

Hallo Jenn, Not sure if you read dutch so I will try to write in English, though I'm Dutch. Found your message on the Ode website and would like to draw your attention to our small international volunteer organization VISTA-project that works for underprivileged people in China, mainly young Tibetan nomad children. (see our websites www.vistaproject.org and www.yakophetdak.nl If you would be interested in fostering children in South-East Asia, we have a lot of children waiting for just such an opportunity.
