World Travelers

That's awesome, Priscilla. It'd be great to take off a few months and just travel in South America for a while. I want to travel everywhere. Literally. Everywhere. It's the best thing for all of us as humans. It's so nice to get that sort of perspective, only possible through peering into another culture. Check out some of my travel pictures on my profile if you want. I lived in France last year and just loved it.

I'm headed to Peru for two weeks. I'm so excited! I'll post my thoughts and photos when I return.

I want to go and experience India. And when I do, I'll be looking for people like the gentlemen I met last week.

They didn't tell me what part of India they were from, but they spoke highly of it, explaining to me how they valued harmony there. They wished all people could experience and just find ways to live in harmony with one another.

I enjoyed my conversation with them immensely and their good nature was contagious. We discussed politics and the cultures of India; over 200 different languages are spoken, different peoples co- exist peacefully.

We discussed energy politics too and talked a lot about the new fuel effecient and inexpensive cars being used in India now. The new cars are showing promise. They run on batteries.

I regret not talking to them longer but they made a huge impression on me and I won't forget them easily.
