My motives are for the environment, but I love business, almost as much as I love the outdoors. Within the project I have been able to translate these ideals into amazing economic savings, but I need to be able to successfully stress the importance of the triple bottom line (including social and environmental concerns) to businessmen who operate solely on the traditional bottom line.
I am an entrepreneur at heart, and my passion for and belief in these ideals are the most important ingredients; however I would very much appreciate any advice for my first big opportunity.

First off, this post will come in two messages – sorry for the length :)
My college and occupational career has led me to a unique position with an extraordinary opportunity. For the past two years my mind has been running rampant, searching for opportunities to help more Americans and their companies realize their impact on and amazing symbiotic relationship with the natural world around us. In August of this year my first opportunity knocked at the door.
I have been hired, as a student consultant, to conduct an environmental research initiative for one of the nation's largest road construction companies, searching for policies that will save them money in improved efficiency and develop a truly 'green' image within their industry. This concept is mostly unheard of for such an industry, but could provide an amazing competitive advantage for the company if marketed correctly. However, before all of this can take place, the company's leadership must adopt my recommendations - my biggest challenge.
