Sharing knowledge for a better world!
‘It was interesting to look at the same situation as always, but in a different way. Working with SharePeople has given us new ideas on how to analyse our business'... These are the words of Alak Kumar Jana, manager horticulture co-operation in India.
Together with two other managers SharePeople invited him to the Netherlands for an intensive learning programme. This programme is a direct follow-up to the Developing Countries, Developing Leaders programme to PRADAN earlier this year.
The purpose of both programmes was to share knowledge for a better world. SharePeople is a Dutch social enterprise focused on improving development of small and medium enterprises and commercialising NGO´s in developing countries through the involvement of professionals from European companies. Therefore SharePeople organizes different types of programmes in which knowledge is shared. The Dutch professionals learn to reflect on their personal and professional skills and the entrepreneurs in developing countries learn to look at their business in a different way.
In the newsletter from SharePeople you can read more about the intensive learning programme that the three managers from NGO PRADAN in India followed in the Netherlands.
