Evolution through vacation

Get ready for the trip of a lifetime: yours. www.evolutionthroughvacation.com

Hi everyone! My name is Elissa. My colleague Gretchen + I have created something really fun and we'd love your input! It's called Evolution Through Vacation. And it helps transform vacations into powerful, personal development experiences.

Chock-full of new possibilities, exploratory experiments and fresh insights for every step of your adventure, e>v (“e through v”) helps you tap into your inner world through your outer experience - no matter where you go or what you do.

How is it different from other travel guides?

1. It’s about the journey, not the destination: e>v focuses on where you want to go inside, not just outside.

2. It’s lightweight, nimble, playful, and fun: It doesn’t make you do “work” on your vacation, it energizes you with a totally new view of your journey.

3. It plays extremely well with others: Whatever other maps, handbooks or gear you take along on your vacation, e>v can help you get more value from it all.

4. It doesn’t stop when your vacation ends: Imagine transforming “vacation energy into everyday energy.” That’s the real promise of e>v.

Who is it for?

Most people relax more and ease up when they’re on vacation. They’re already out of their everyday routines, so it’s a perfect time to open up to bigger, more life-centric possibilities. In that space, e>v offers answers for people seeking new possibilities for their lives, their way. (Sounds like Ode readers, dontcha think?)

Based on the concept of a Rite of Passage, e>v follows the natural rhythm of vacations while bringing new perspectives and questions to the fore. And it’s fun!

All in all, there's lots to explore, lots to learn, lots to share. Check it out and let's hit the road!

I'm so glad I packed my printed e ^> v e-guide next to my new lures for my trip to Lake Vermilion, MN that I just returned from. While I was out there fishing, e > v gave me lots of new ways to think about the casting, jigging, catching, releasing and trolling I was doing out on the lake and in my day-to-day life.

I've never fished that way before and I almost didn't: my back was killing me from a sudden and odd toothbrush-twist I made just before leaving. the first couple days up north I reflected on how i was "leaning back" a lot because of my back pain so I gave the e > v "Bibliomancy" exercise a try, opened up my Sun magazine to a random page and landed on the sentence – I kid you not – "'God, my back hurts.'"

that made me re-consider how I was being and change course. I chose to "lean into" the last two days of my vacation, gulp a handful of ibuprofen and get my ass out on the damn lake to have more fun!

so thanks. e > v is awesome stuff. I can't wait to tinker with the "re-entry" section now that I'm home and my back's feeling way better.
