Finding my true north

For many years I struggled to find my purpose in life. Through inward reflection and self observation, I came to realize that in order for me to function in this society, I had to abandon the American Dream. I didn't want the American Dream anymore. I was disconnected from it.

I wanted to live as part of the vast Universe and define my passion. What am I here on this earth to do? I recognized that my purpose was to be of service to others but in what way I wondered? Steadfast in reading, research, meditation and prayer, I opened myself up to the journey. I told the Universe to create a life path for me to journey, as it knew my heart's desire and the radiating energy from within. The Universe guided me to personal development. I soon realized that in order to travel this universal journey, I had to become a student of personal development. I quickly learned that I understood the language of personal development and was completely connected to it.

For the first time in my life, I found something that interested me. Becoming a student of personal development was aiding me in defining My True North. I was inspired and validated. I felt connected. I bathed in the teachings of Edgar Cayce, Patrick Combs, Oprah Winfrey, Dan Millman (author, Way Of The Peaceful Warrior) - all of these individuals who were "advanced students of personal development." They knew about the journey from their own personal experiences. They were ahead of me in their enlightenment. I thanked the Universe for its guidance. I knew where it was taking me.

Currently, I have moved from the East Coast to the West Coast (Hayward, California). This is part of my universal direction - I am assured. I am preparing to attend the Institute of Transpersonal Studies for Spiritual Counseling. In the meantime, I must make a living to support myself.

I joined LifePath Unlimited recently (another sign given to me by the universe while on my journey). Of course there is the commissioned monetary aspect of the business if that is what you're attracted to. For me, it's an avenue for personal life enhancement with a monetary component. The Universe acknowledges that while I am on my way to creating my utopia, I still must survive in the natural world. This includes earning a living to support myself - as we all must do.
