Thanks This is such hopeful information.
Where I live in Japan the push is to donate shoes to the homeless. These unfortnate folks are told not to sleep in parks at night, because they might freeze to death. They are advised to walk all night and sleep in a sunny spot during the day. But that means they wear out shoes very quickly. So, any and all shoes that are donated are most appreciated.
It is always good to do good near to home, too, don't you think?
