Sunset at the north pole

My friend just sent this to me. It's a scene you will probably never get to see, so take a moment and enjoy God at work at the North Pole. This is the sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest point. And, you also see the sun below the moon. An amazing photo and not one easily duplicated.

Amazing, perhaps too amazing. Given the wide angle shot of the landscape (and sun's small size), I'm not a believer until I have the actual negative (from the camera) or the DNG file (raw and un-editable file) in front of me. I'll bet $100 to a good cause that this is indeed a Photoshop job. So, I guess I'm a "Doubting Thomas."

Yep, it's a fake. See: www.snopes.com/photos/natural/northpole.asp
