Peace cereal

You know by now that I’m all for peace in any way I can promote it so it delighted me when I found Peace Cereal - an excellent way to start the day!

Their website informs us, "At Peace Cereal our mission is to serve you by making deliciously natural and healthy cereal, as well as to serve the community by utilizing responsible business practices and donating 10% of our profits to support community projects."

"Peace Cereal was introduced by Golden Temple in 1997 as a way to support a more loving planet. We believe change begins at the grassroots level, one person at a time. That’s why we support community projects that provide nutritious meals to those in need, through food banks and school breakfast programs. As a food manufacturer, if we can help alleviate hunger we believe we can start to create more peaceful homes, working and learning environments and, finally, communities."

"Golden Temple, our parent company, started Peace Cereal with the wisdom of more than 30 years of creating quality natural cereals. As a result, we always use all natural ingredients and ensure our products are certified grown and processed without genetic engineering. Our 125,000 square foot factory in Eugene, Oregon is also fully certified by the FDA and the Department of Agriculture, with a superior rating for food hygiene, safety and quality control from the American Institute of Baking."

The coolest thing about Peace Cereal is that it promotes peace-creating in organizations all over the world. Here are some wonderful facts about recent Peace Cereal Grant Recipients:

Medicines Global has already delivered enough pharmaceutical grade Vitamin A to prevent nutritional childhood blindness in 108,000 children living in Nepal.

• The East Meets West project provides clean water, proper medical treatment and a solid education in Southeast Asia.

• Food From the ʼHood has used profits to send over 77 ‘student-managers’ to college.

• The 11 Nobel Peace Laureates working with Peace Jam include the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and Jose Ramos Horta.

• The blockbuster film "Patch Adams" is based on the founder of the Gesundheit! Institute.

• Their website has one of those lovely little zip code gadgets that allows you to search for a store near you. I found 18 stores within 5 miles of my Boston home.

Beginning your day with peace is more than a good idea. It’s a GREAT idea.

Peace Cereal is here to help us all start with peace.

Cereal belongs to healthy diet because of its vitamins and minerals that can supplement out body. We have to be health-conscious to avoid illnesses that can be fatal. Many are even not into taking medications because of its taste or just get traumatized by hospitalization. People who don't want to have to get a prescription for everything could look into the People's Pharmacy. The People's Pharmacy isn't a communist pharmacy, but it's an organization, website, and series of publications that's chock full of home remedies that have been proven in the field, like using Listerine to repel mosquitoes. The People's Pharmacy was started by Joe Graedon, a pharmacologist, and his wife Terry, a medical anthropologist, because they wanted to find some better ways of doing things and living healthier, without needing to rely on some stooge for Big Pharma. Viewing the website is free, but the books published by the People's Pharmacy might be worth some online cash loans.
