Michele McKeag Larsen is the creator and passion behind www.ISpyJoy.com, a website created for the sole purpose of spreading joy. After losing her dream business she reevaluated her life and kept looking for what would make her happy. She found that happiness doesn't come from what we do or what we own or who we think we are; it comes from appreciating the moment and savoring it and delighting in being alive right here, right now. As she started looking for joy on purpose she experienced the uplifting impact on herself and decided to share that with others to help them be happier.

ISpyJoy.com is a wonderful chronicle of little bits and pieces of joy shared each day. It lightens up our spirit as we see the delight of a child's exuberance on his bike, a drummer on a street corner, children picking pumpkins for Halloween and more. ISpyJoy.com shows us that joy is in the little everyday experiences and is available to each of us.

Built on two foundations, the site proves that 1)joy lives; and 2)joy spreads. Look at the joyful photos on the site and you will come away feeling happier and more inspired than before.

With the goal of showing that joy lives everywhere, intelligent optimist Michele McKeag Larsen hopes to receive photos of joy from every country in the world. Currently, www.ISpyJoy.com has images of joy from 7 countries, 6 US states and 27 cities and continues to grow. Over 13,000 people have visited the site in the first three and a half months. ISpyJoy.com reminds us that joy is available to us no matter where we live, how old we are, or what we do. The site brings us together in a common pursuit as human beings and reinforces that joy is ours if only we open our eyes and look around.
