Stacy Brice

Ever since I entered AssistU (www.assistu.com) back in 2001, my life has changed, and I'm not shy about telling the world. :) AssistU taught me the basics of starting my virtual assistance business, of course, but it did so much more than that. It taught me that I could be valued and appreciated for who I was. That I could work with people of my choosing. That I could get paid in accordance with my valuable skills. That I could have high standards. That I could attract good things to my life.

My life has never been the same, and never will be again.

And it's all because of what Stacy Brice created at AssistU. And because of the amazing programs she continues to create and bring to the world. Because of her passion for seeing people, especially woman, step into who they really are, and lead full, authentic lives.

Stacy Brice is necessary to this world.

I second what Writewell wrote! I am a new VA in the process of creating my practice. Thanks to Stacy and her program I have a strong sense of how I want my business to be and have developed standards and boundaries around that. I chose to be a Virtual Assistant in my quest for an authentic life. Stacy's programs have supported me in every way and I am very grateful to be a part of her world!

As a graduate of AssistU and on of Stacy’s coaching clients, I whole heartedly agree with what has been written about Stacy. Coaching with her has been a life enhancing experience. She is a professional and a wonderful leader.

In the work Stacy does with AssistU and through her coaching programs, she helps women set and maintain high standards for their businesses and for their lives. I think that this in turns helps women to feel more confident about who they are and what they are doing.

Stacy is an important part of my world. She continues to make a difference in many women's lives.

Stacy Brice is a voice of reason among the chaos in the virtual assistance world. She has set standards for the profession and is a solid resource for many of us.

I have been an AU graduate for 5 years and certainly cannot imagine doing anything else. She is my coach and she challenges each of us to be the best of the best.

How can you not admire and strive to emulate her?

She is one amazing individual.

Hello Ode community. This much I know. I am what I am today, a working, successful Virtual Assistant, because of the vision Stacy Brice had over ten years ago and created AssistU. I read one of the first articles about this emerging profession, completed the training program and have never looked back.

What have I learned? Visionary stuff I probably would have missed on my own. Business building blocks for my practice that have real value. A community for others who are working Virtual Assistants. Partnerships with individuals and companies that are a great match for our profession.

For me, the vision thing is key. She blazed the trail for this profession and does this with grace, ease and genuine commitment to the community she's created. Hands down, this is someone you want to know, to interact with, to learn from. And there's another thing--she's accessible and available, without gatekeepers. If you want to meet her *virtually*, send her a note and let the connection begin: stacy@assistu.com

Where ever Stacy goes, I want to follow. Whatever Stacy says do, I do. Stacy is a trailblazer!

I've not only completed the 20-week Virtual Training Program, graduated and started a fabulous VA business 8-years old, I've gone on to get my Certified Master Virtual Assistant designation, and started a new business all because of Stacy Brice.

Stacy is always keeping her finger on the pulse of the VA community. She recognized that some of us were probably ready to take our businesses to the next level so she created a program (What's Next) to help us achieve that end. Stacy is just smart that way. Always thinking of ways to help VAs improve themselves!

So, when my back is up against a wall, I ask, "WWSD?"

"Intelligent Optimist" is an apt description of Stacy Brice!

The number of persons she has empowered through training and coaching must be innumerable. And we all know that empowerment has a ripple effect--because I have been empowered by my connection to Stacy, it ripples out to others in my life.

The Virtual Training Program at Assistu.com and the community that has grown around it have changed my life in profound ways. I'm forever grateful to Stacy for the contributions she's made to *my* world and the world we all live in!

I am a graduate of the AssistU program and have been a coaching client of Stacy for over a year and half.

Our bi-weekly coaching sessions are one of the highlights of my business because of Stacy's amazing insight, forthright honesty and contagious optimism. I would NOT have hit the ground running in my Virtual Assistance practice without the VTP and I would NOT have achieved the amazing success I have enjoyed without Stacy's help, support and guidance.

She has set the standard for excellence in the Virtual Assistance industry and should continue to be recognized for her priceless contribution to helping us all succeed.

Thank you Stacy for all you do and for just being YOU!

As an AssistU grad, I know first hand what it means to experience Stacy's 20 week Virtual Training Program. The program, and the AssistU community, has played a huge role in the person that I am today. I am a better person, and a better business person, because of my journey at AssistU. I can't say enough about how much thought and care and passion goes in to all that Stacy does. I am grateful for Stacy's vision and passion for the Virtual Assistance industry.

Several years before I entered AssistU's Virtual Training Program, I read an article in which Stacy was interviewed and a spark flashed in my mind and soul - one day in the not too distant future, I would fulfill my deep desire to take hold of my days, my livelihood, to live in balance and integrity. Stacy's consistent coaching and encouragement of each of us has created a community that is solidly supportive and celebrates the wonderful diversity of who we are and where we've been. We are continually but gently pushed to be our best selves. It takes a very special person to maintain such consistent positive energy within such a large and varied group of people day after day, month by month, year in and year out. I am deeply grateful!

After reading an article on Virtual Assistance in Business Week in 2003 and discovering AssistU, my life continues to grow in ways I could not have imagined! I feel fortunate to be a graduate of the Virtual Training Program through AssistU and be a part of a wonderful community of VAs.

Through the Virtual Training Program, Stacy taught us to value our skills, create high standards and live a full, authentic life.

Stacy, thank you for all of your support and for all you do for the Virtual Assistance profession.

I'm a Certified Professional Virtual Assistant (CPVA) and a trainer of Virtual Assistants for AssistU. My life dramatically changed when I found out about the Virtual Training Program, AssistU and Stacy Brice almost five years ago.

The Law of Attraction, Abundance, Standards, Partnership, Standing for the Client and Ideal Client Profiles are just a few of the many principles and concepts shared with students through the rich curriculum created by Stacy. As a Trainer I'm honored to pass on her legacy of integrity and value of self to new VAs, helping them to build strong foundations for their Virtual Assistance practices.

Stacy is credited with substantiating the VA profession eleven years ago. Through her commitment to excellence and dedication to the profession, high-level Virtual Assistance is alive and thriving.

Thank you, Stacy, for the many doors you've opened for hundreds of VAs around the world. VAs and their clients are enjoying successful partnerships because of you and your forward thinking.

Five years ago I was working for a company that had been sold to a corporation. As a result of the sale I lost 8+ years of acquired benefits...including paid maternity, and I was 5 months pregnant at the time. I was absolutely devastated and trying to figure out what the next step would be in my life. I wanted to be available to my children, I wanted to work for people who appreciated me and I wanted to enjoy what I was doing. I also wanted to make sure that never again would someone control the balance of our family.

I came across an article in Time Magazine about Stacy Brice and AssistU. This was what I had been looking for. The training you receive through AssistU is life changing. It changes your perspective on everything--I have become a different person. I'm much more independent, confident and happy. I'm a small business owner!! I work with people I love, doing work I love! I'm available for my family much more so now than I ever would have been working a corporate job. I have amazing connections within my AssistU community and all around the world.

Stacy was my trainer, she is my mentor and I am very blessed to have her in my life!

I belong to the church of Stacy Brice as well and love everything Stacy does. I graduated from Assistu in June 2002 and have never looked back. I earn a fantastic living from my VA practice and have learned so much from Stacy. I have done her "What's Next" program and grew leaps and bounds. I also did private coaching and her support, expertise and encouragement were amazing and exactly what I needed.

I feel so blessed to have Stacy in my life and would love for more people to know all about her and what she can do for them as well.

You ROCK Stacy!

I love Stacy Brice for how she aggrandized my life. In the winter of 2002, I lost my job in corporate America two weeks before Christmas. This was the catalyst that led me to virtual assisting. Stacy gave me a partial scholarship to the Virtual Training Program and it revolutionized my life. I will never forget her generosity.

Stacy is truly a visionary. Her insightfulness drills down into whatever subject she's crafting - the AU website, the grad classes, the VTP itself - whatever, and what we get as a result is a pithy, fact-filled, pertinent, useful compendium that aggrandizes our businesses. Stacy is about service to others, hence her own success.

My VA practice has been a wonderfully freeing experience. I am an intelligent woman who was easily bored with her job after several months in it when I worked in corporate America. Today, I never get bored. My clients come from so many different venues, boredom is impossible. I'm grateful to Stacy for this opportunity.

I could not recommend Assist U or Stacy Brice to anyone with more good feelings because I know personally, if you do the work she recommends, you will have a successful business. Can't knock that! The Assist U "way" if you will permits and encourages individuality. That's because Stacy honors individuality. I wouldn't be here without that.

I heartily recommend, endorse and support Stacy Brice. It would be unintelligent not to feature her for your Intelligent Optimist award. ;)

To say that the Virtual Training Program at AssistU changed my life is an understatement. The wisdom from the class materials, the friendships created through the AU Community, and the coaching and guidance from Stacy Brice all have made me the strong, independent business owner I am today.

Stacy uses her talents wisely to empower women by showing them they can live the life they want to live and enjoy the work they do. It is with gratitude that I say thanks, Stacy, for helping me proudly wear the title of Virtual Assistant! :)

Stacy Brice has been an ongoing inspiration to me, and is, without doubt, the main reason I am a successful virtual assistant today.

10 years ago, I was floundering around, trying to figure out how I could live my dream life in the country and still make a living. AssistU, the company Stacy founded, turned out to be the answer to my prayers, and Stacy's teaching and unflagging encouragement got me through her demanding course and the launch of my business. The virtual community she created via AssistU has been invaluable to me as a VA, and she has worked tirelessly to empower and support her graduates, while promoting and setting high standards for the VA industry.

She is certainly intelligent (I'd even say brilliant) and an unshakable optimist, but more than that. she is a visionary and a trail blazer.

Indeed, Stacy is the most intelligent optimist I have the pleasure of knowing.

Intelligent ... for creating the Virtual Assistant Industry, which according to George Washington University "is growing rapidly and expected to be a $130 Billion Dollar industry." How's that for vision? You can read her story here: www.assistu.com/va/aboutus.shtml#stacy

Optimist... for promoting an atmosphere and attitude of abundance. Stacy knows that there is plenty for everyone, that it's an attractive universe and all of us can be, do and have whatever our heart desires.

I am truly blessed to have found her.

I have an entrepreneurial spirit and have owned several, successful small businesses. However, my virtual assistance practice would not be what it is today without the training and support I received from Stacy and the AssistU community.

My journey with Stacy began when AssistU was just being formed. I was looking for a way to blend my entrepreneurial side with my love of being an administrative assistant. When Stacy generously offered me a scholarship to attend AssistU I told her "she would not regret her decision." I haven't regretted it either!

Stacy's vision and optimism has not been limited just to what it means for "her business." Even after 11 years, it still encompasses what is in the best interest of the "entire" Virtual Assistance industry.

Thank you, Stacy!

I had the vision of a Virtual Assistance practice several years ago, and struggled to bring this vision to the UK. I talked with many "entrepreneur" support services and small business services but they could not see the business that I wanted to create, then I came across AssistU and Stacy Brice's vision of a Virtual Assistance practice and it was exactly what I wanted to create. I couldn't sign up to the AssistU VTP program fast enough.

That was nearly 6 years ago now and not only was this the best decision in terms of my business, but also the best decision for my business as it grows. Stacy constantly pushes, challenges and gently coerces the VA profession in general to grow and develop thriving, enjoyable and successful businesses. She encourages us to see that there is no glass ceiling in our profession, our businesses or for ourselves and that we truly can achieve anything we want to.

Stacy Brice is what I consider to be the shining beacon at the forefront of the Virtual Assistance industry, and the old saying "hitch your wagon to a star" still rings true, because Stacy Brice is truly a star not only for Virtual Assistants but generally for business owners who want to have success, a good life, and be authentic all in one go, and my wagon is firmly hitched on.

Stacy you are the best!!! Thank you for being a fantastic voice and role model!

Nearly five years ago I began the Virtual Training Program at AssistU. I quickly came to learn that not all virtual assistants are the same.

Stacy works diligently to instill values and standards in her graduates, which leads so many of us to sustain successful virtual assistant practices long term.

The community of AssistU virtual assistants all know what a positive force she is in our world. Maybe it's time we share her with the rest of you :-)

Stacy Brice is a true visionary, gifted at inspiring others. She's changed the lives of hundreds - helping them to see themeselves in a fuller and kinder way, helping them to see through the eyes of possibility. I am one of these people. Thank you, Stacy!
